Questions and Answers
Should I take a drawing class before I take a painting class?
If you’d like to take a drawing class, we recommend “Drawing for Absolute Beginners.” But you don’t have to know lots about drawing to benefit from the class.
3. Isn’t watercolor difficult?
Not at all once you learn a few simple rules, like letting some parts dry before you add more paint. Also, there is a freedom in just allowing the color to move around with the water. You will learn how to paint wet on dry and when to let it flow with wet on wet.
In this Seattle watercolor class, you’ll learn about washes, glazing, blending, creating form with lights and shadows, textures, interesting backgrounds, and other useful hints to make your paintings vibrant and beautiful. |
